Trek

I believe the girl behind Taylor with the blue bandanna is our cute friend Sarah.

Ouch poor Emily feet I am sure Rachel
is giving moral support
I think the girl in the pig tails in the cool sunglasses is our Ashley.

Our Stake is participating in a Trek, I had the opportunity to go up there and help at one of the stations yesterday. It was to wash and braid hair for the people participating they hiked 12 miles Tuesday and more on Wednesday. Then they set up camp and had booths set up with different things for them to do. They all are dressed in olden days attire and are looking great. I did not hear one complaint when we were there. What wonderful youth we have and I am so thankful for the adults who were willing to participate! I will have more pictures when Ashley returns home. She will be one tired kid but was very positive when I was able to see her yesterday what a girl! The news paper was there and put them in the paper.

here are a few pictures.
ok so I am new at this the pictures are above.
the only reason I even have a blog is my great friend Terilyn love ya!

Busy Month!

So this month has been very busy expecially for Ashley and Devin.
Devin went to scout camp for a week (pictures coming) and the day he got back he flew out with Ashley to Las Vegas. My wonderful parents met them in Vegas and spent the weekend with them and then dropped Ashley off at EFY where she had an amazing experience. While Devin went back to Lake Havasu and spent the week with Grammy and Grandpys and with my Sister Cheryl. ( of course their favorite Aunt just ask Cheryl) . At the end of the week on Saturday our awesome friend Rick picked Ashley up for us and took her friend Jace to the airport, and took Ashley back to his house to visit. Which she loved seeing all of his scuba diving pictures. By the way I have been asking my husband for scuba lessons for the past 10 years of our 18 years marriage as a present for any holidays I can think of. and still do not know how, is another story. Back to the kids. So then my parents came and picked her up and took her back to Lake Havasu for a couple days. and then again took them back to Las Vages on Tuesday to fly home. Ok I have the most awesome parents ever! Then on Tuesday our ward headed out for a trek. The ward left at 10 am and Ashley and Devin's plane did not get in until 5:50 that night. So we picked them up had Ashley's clothes to change into for the trek and made her change her clothes in the car gave her a piece of pizza and took her up and dropped her off in the middle of the desert to meet up with the rest of the kids. There will be details of their Lasvegas trip with pictures as soon as Ashley gets home to show me how to download the pictures.
